The Banc d’Arguin is a magnificent, golden-sand nature reserve, haven for numerous species of migratory birds.

At the heart of the reserve, oyster farmers produce some of the Bay’s best oysters, called Les Belles d’Arguin. Definitely a must-see!

Many who love this exotic island enjoy swimming and spending relaxing afternoons here.

To preserve this natural site, please exercise caution: The Banc d’Arguin is a major nesting ground for numerous bird species. Don’t forget to pack a picnic!

Departure from Cap Ferret (Bélisaire Pier) at 10:40 AM or 2:40 PM to Banc d’Arguin (~50 minutes crossing via Le Moulleau).
Enjoy a full day of relaxation and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Arcachon Bay.
Return: departure from Banc d’Arguin at 3:30 PM or 5:15 PM, arriving at Cap Ferret (Bélisaire Pier) around 6:20 PM.

FROM JULY 5 TO SEPTEMBER 7

Departure from Cap Ferret (Bélisaire Pier) at 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM to Banc d’Arguin (~45 minutes crossing).
Enjoy a full day of relaxation and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Arcachon Bay.
Return: departure from Banc d’Arguin at 5:30 PM, arriving at Cap Ferret (Bélisaire Pier) around 6:15 PM.
