Dune du Pilat
Boarding at Dune du Pilat, the highest sand dune in Europe. During the summer, you can take a boat shuttle to the southern end of the Dune du Pilat (Robinson Plage – Le Sabloney) and the Banc d’Arguin. You can also take a boat shuttle to Bélisaire Pier in Cap Ferret.
How to get to the Dune du Pilat to take the maritime shuttle?
To get to Robinson beach (Le Sabloney), the embarkation point of the Dune du Pilat, we recommend that you use soft means of transport (on foot, by bus, by bike). There is no parking nearby and parking is prohibited along the D218.

Bordeaux Mérignac Airport, 45 minutes from Arcachon.
From Arcachon train station, take Baïa Bus Line 1 direction Plage de la Salie, get off at the Pyla Camping stop (≈ 30 min. bus trip), then walk 300m (≈ 4 min.) towards Panorama Camping to the path to Robinson Beach (≈ 20 min. walk). Line operating all year round.
From Le Teich, take Baïa Bus Line 6 direction Plage de la Salie, get off at the Pyla Camping stop (≈ 45 min. bus trip), then walk 300m (≈ 4 min.) towards Panorama Camping to the path to Robinson Beach (≈ 20 min. walk). Line operating in summer only.
From Arcachon train station (± 3 hours from Paris), take Baïa Bus Line 1 direction Plage de la Salie, get off at the Pyla Camping stop (≈ 30 min. bus trip).
There is no parking close to the path.
Please note that parking is prohibited along the RN 218.
July & August: 10:00 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 17:30
Boarding by ladder on the beach.
On presentation of a boat ticket, toilets are available on board on request to the captain.
